this is me

hi, i'm tara.  a new mom, a wife, a daughter, and a sister. i love my family! my daughter Emarie is fantastic!  being a mom has made my life so much more meaningful.  there's so much more i am aware of now because of her.  usually men say they married out of their league, but i feel i hit the husband jack-pot with ryan.  he's my favorite person to be around, he makes me crazy some of the time, he would do anything for me, and he can bring a smile to my face no matter what.  i respect him and admire all that he is.  there is nobody else that knows and gets me quite like he does.  i'm a better person because he's in my life.  my parents are my biggest fans.  they have and continue to teach me how to be a good person.  my mom has a BIG heart and my dad doesn't take himself too serious ever.  we've faced some adversity in life, lost some loved ones, but through it all, my family and i have stuck together.

the 'rents

i started this blog to keep in touch with friends, but i've found a whole new world of inspiration.  i am obsessed with seeing all the DIY projects out there and i dream of creating things, but with a newborn, extra time can be hard to come by.  slowly but surely ryan and i are making our house our haven.  i'm now focused on making this blog a "living legacy" of our daily lives.

i l.o.v.e being inspired and since starting this blog, i've seen and read so many inspiring things.  i'm amazed at how much people share about themselves through a blog, and i'm jumping onboard.  i am not concerned about what others take away from my blog, but i'm looking to put together something to document our lives for my daughter.  Now come see what's going on in this girls' life.  Hopefully you will be entertained.
