So it's day 8 of Ryan's tonsillectomy and it's getting worse not better. Since last Friday (July 2nd) we've hardly slept at all, he's moody, he's lost 9 lbs (and counting), I've got cabin fever, and we've been to the ER! This kind of sounds like how my friends explain Parenthood! I'm ready to have my husband back.
On a lighter note, I've decided I need to take up some hobbies. Some of these things I used to do, some I want to start doing...
Learn photography (jump on the bandwagon, right.)
Crochet more
Scrapbook (I have a cricut)
Learn to Sew
Cook more
I will probably add and take things away from this list as I start my new hobbies. Wish me luck.

March 2010
So again, I let months go by without posting something. I'm really bad at this. I guess Ryan and I don't have much to blog about. The four of us are doing well in KC. Rudy and Izzy are just as ready for summer as we are. I'm looking forward to getting out in the flower beds and grilling out.
Some things we've done the last few months to the house...
1. Painted the kitchen (again...)
2. Had stone put on the front of the house.
3. Bought new light fixtures for the outside.
4. Put up new curtains in the kitchen and the master bath.
5. Laid stone at the bottom of the deck to prevent muddy paws.
Ryan and I have also become close to our neighbors the Coleman's. Keath and Laura moved in behind us last April, and Ryan and I have spent many Friday nights hanging out with them at their house or ours. It's been fun!
