Thanksgiving

We're celebrating Thanksgiving with my parents this year, and it's been pretty low key. Last month my grandfather passed, so the first holiday without a loved one is a little hard. I'm really thankful for my family and friends this year. It's been a crazy year with buying our first home, surviving our first year of marriage, and losing my grandpa. I have to wonder what this next year will bring.

I'm going to get better about posting, but I kind of forgot how to post, and just realized I was entering the wrong password. I will also post more pics, but I think Mandy and Katie are the only ones that visit this site. :)

Today I got one of those Cricut Expression machines that lets you create all kinds of cool things for scrapbooking. I've been playing with it most of the evening, and I will put pics of my creations on here too. Well...once they get good. I'm going to make our Christmas cards this year, so I better get on it.

Life in Kansas City

Ryan and I have been married for 1 year and 2 month. We've settled down in Kansas City, and now are living the dream! Ok, maybe life's not always a dream, but we really love our house and where we are at right now as a couple. Sometimes we wish we lived in Colorado, but our compromise is to take lots of trips out there. We have two great dogs, Rudy and Izzy, so while others are putting up pictures of their new babies, our blog will be pictures of our puppies!

Ryan has a great job with a Commercial Insurance Broker here in KC, and I am working as an Admissions Representative for an online University. We LIVE for the weekends and playing outside. Our lives have been going 100 miles and hour since our wedding, and we are so excited to discover what the future holds for us.
